Egy napon a Hold nagy része felrobbant, örökös kifli formára alakítva az égitestet. Az elkövető egy szuper képességekkel megáldott polip, aki megfenyegeti a világot, miszerint egy év múlva a Földdel is ugyanezt teszi, és nincs az a hadsereg, amely ebben megakadályozhatná. Aztán valami oknál fogva azt kéri, az elkövetkezendő egy év során hagy lehessen a Kunugigaoka Előkészítő Iskola, bajkeverőkből és javíthatatlan diákokból álló, E-3 osztályának az osztályfőnöke. A kormány megbízást ad a diákoknak: 10 milliárd jenes jutalom ellenében, a tanév során ragadjanak meg minden kínálkozó alkalmat és vessenek be minden eszközt a tanáruk megölése érdekében. Koro-sensei azonban a legyőzhetetlensége mellett, azzal is nehezíti az amatőr bérgyilkosok dolgát, hogy még első osztályú tanár is.
