Richard Armitage was born and raised in Leicester, England. He attended Pattison College in Binley Road, Coventry, and studied at LAMDA (the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art). His first appearance on the screen was in a small role in This Year's Love (1999), but it was Sparkhouse (2002) (TV) that gave him a break-through role as the charming but a bit odd character of John Standring opposite Sarah Smart. After two guest-roles in "Cold Feet" (1997) in 2003 and "Between the Sheets" (2003), he landed a role as Steven in Frozen (2005/I), which eventually led him to play the lead role in the big hit BBC drama "North & South" (2004). Other than appearing on screen, he has also appeared on stage--in, for example, Macbeth and Hamlet.

Jing Lusi (born 16 May 1985) is a Chinese-British actress. She is best known for her roles in Stan Lee's Lucky Man, the 2018 hit film Crazy Rich Asians and BAFTA nominated series Gangs of London. On stage, she was part of the original cast of the European premiere of Amy Herzog's play 4000 Miles. She has presented for the BBC, as well as being the focus, for the documentaries My Chinese New Year (2015) and Chinese New Year: The Biggest Celebration on Earth (2016). She was born in Pudong, Shanghai, and moved with her parents to the United Kingdom at the age of five. Her family settled in Southampton, her father having been granted a scholarship to study a master's degree at the university. She studied at Peter Symonds College, Winchester, then read law at University College London.

Mido Hamada (born 1971) is a German-Egyptian actor having played roles in film, theater and television. Hamada attended the Oxford School of Drama. He lives in London, England. In 2004, he also played a role in the blockbuster film, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Hamada has most recently finished shooting a film "The Situation" in which he played Zaid, an Iraqi photographer. Hamada appeared in the Fox hit series 24 as Samir Mehran. Samir, a rogue intelligence agent from the fictional Middle-Eastern country of Kamistan attempting to, and later successfully assassinating its elected president, Omar Hassan (Anil Kapoor). He served as the season's arch-villain for most of its episodes.
