Richard Armitage was born and raised in Leicester, England. He attended Pattison College in Binley Road, Coventry, and studied at LAMDA (the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art). His first appearance on the screen was in a small role in This Year's Love (1999), but it was Sparkhouse (2002) (TV) that gave him a break-through role as the charming but a bit odd character of John Standring opposite Sarah Smart. After two guest-roles in "Cold Feet" (1997) in 2003 and "Between the Sheets" (2003), he landed a role as Steven in Frozen (2005/I), which eventually led him to play the lead role in the big hit BBC drama "North & South" (2004). Other than appearing on screen, he has also appeared on stage--in, for example, Macbeth and Hamlet.

Emily Swallow is an American actress best known for her starring role as neurosurgical resident Dr. Michelle Robidaux, a 20-something resident who is inexperienced yet eager and is finding her footing among giants, in the medical drama television series Monday Mornings. Swallow grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia, where she majored in Middle Eastern studies. Latter Swallow moved to New York City and earned a master's degree in acting from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. On television and film, Swallow has been on both sides of the law, playing a detective on Ringer, a detective's wife on Southland, a bounty hunter on the CBS pilot The Odds, a bank robber on Medium and even a patriotic, RV-traveling hooker in The Lucky Ones. For good measure, she also played a mermaid on Flight of the Conchords and starred in the independent feature The Rift, directed by Shana Sosin.

Graham McTavish (born 1961) is a Scottish television actor. He has played the character Warden Ackerman in Red Dwarf in five episodes of series 8. McTavish has also had many supporting roles in British dramas and films such as Casualty, Jekyll, The Bill, Taggart and Sisterhood. He also played the ill-tempered Mercenary Commander Lewis in Rambo, had a role as Desmond's drill sergeant in the fourth season of Lost, starred in Ali G Indahouse as a Customs Officer and played a Russian pirate in NCIS. He played Ferguson in 4 episodes of season 4 of Prison Break. He has also starred in the film Green Street 2 which was released on 23rd March 2009. McTavish provided the voice and motion capture work for the evil psychopath war criminal Zoran Lazarevic in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, the voice of the main protagonist Dante Alighieri in Dante's Inferno, Restoration leader Commander Lucius in the Shadow Complex video game, and the Decepticon Thundercracker in Transformers: War for Cybertron. He played Russian Foreign Minister Mikhail Novakovich in the eighth season of 24, and did voice work as the Marvel Comics villain Loki in Hulk Vs. Thor and The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. McTavish has also been cast in upcoming film The Wicker Tree, Robin Hardy's much anticipated sequel to 1973's The Wicker Man, and as Dwalin in the much anticipated The Hobbit.
