Amy Beth Hayes (born 8 October 1982) is a British actress. She is best known for her roles as Kitty in Mr Selfridge; Lucy in "The Entire History of You", an episode of Black Mirror; Ruth in Misfits; Clem in Shameless; Amy in The Syndicate; and Maxine Fox in Sirens. She has also appeared in Doctor Who and Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Hayes was born in Abergavenny, Wales, but grew up in Darlington, County Durham, England. Her first taste of acting was as a 14 year old at the National Youth Theatre, she joined a course with much older students and decided to pursue acting as a possible career path. However, first she chose the academic route, studying English Literature and Language at Keble College, Oxford. After graduating, she enrolled at the Central School of Speech and Drama for three years.

His credits include See No Evil: The Moors Murders (2006), Looking for Eric (2009), The Musketeers (2016), Cleaning Up (2019), and Domina (2021), and The Rising (2022). McNulty was born on 14 December 1982 in Hanover, Lower Saxony, West Germany, and lived in Berlin and Münster, before moving to Atherton, Greater Manchester, England, when he was 10 years old. He attended Hesketh Fletcher high school, Atherton, then furthered his education at Winstanley College in Wigan. At 15 years of age, he was a lead in a school play, and enjoyed the role enough to make acting a career choice. McNulty was attending drama classes in Manchester when casting director Judi Hayfield approached him to audition for his first feature film. He juggled working in demolition with performing.

Timothy Leonard Spall (born February 27, 1957) is an English actor and presenter. He became a household name in the UK after appearing as Barry Spencer Taylor in the 1983 ITV comedy-drama series Auf Wiedersehen, Pet. Spall performed in Secrets & Lies (1996), and was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. Subsequently, he starred in many films, including Hamlet (1996), Still Crazy (1998), Nicholas Nickleby (2002), The Last Samurai (2003), Enchanted (2007), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007), The Damned United (2009), The King's Speech (2010), Ginger and Rosa (2012), Denial (2016), and The Party (2017). He voiced Nick, a cynical, portly rat in Chicken Run (2000). He played Peter Pettigrew in five Harry Potter films, from Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) to Deathly Hallows – Part 1 (2010). Spall has collaborated with director Mike Leigh, making six films together: Home Sweet Home (1982), Life is Sweet (1990), Secrets & Lies (1996), Topsy-Turvy (1999), All or Nothing (2002), and Mr. Turner (2014). Spall won great acclaim for his performance in the last of these for his portrayal as J. M. W. Turner winning him the Best Actor Award at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. He starred in the television documentary Timothy Spall: ...at Sea (2010–2012) and in 2019 he appeared as Lord Arthur Wallington in the 6-part BBC Cold War drama Summer of Rockets.

Matthew David Lewis (born 27 June 1989) is an English actor. He is best known for his role as Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter film series. Born in Leeds, Lewis made his acting debut in Some Kind of Life (1995), guest-starring on dramas for ITV and BBC One before appearing in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001). Lewis played the role for ten years, concluding with the final film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (2011), for which he received critical praise. Following the series, Lewis reoccured in The Syndicate and performed his first theatre role in Our Boys at the Duchess Theatre in 2012. Lewis starred in The Rise (2012) which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival to positive reviews and made appearances on BBC dramas Bluestone 42 and Death in Paradise in 2013 and 2015, respectively. Lewis had a supporting role in Me Before You (2016), which became a box office success. He was cast in the crime dramas Ripper Street and Happy Valley before starring on the ITV drama Girlfriends in 2018. Lewis appeared in Terminal (2018), which premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival as well as Baby Done (2020). Since 2020, Lewis has starred in Channel 5 television series All Creatures Great and Small to critical praise.
