Christopher O'Dowd (born 9 October 1979) is an Irish actor and comedian. He received wide attention as Roy Brenneman, one of the lead characters in the Channel 4 comedy The IT Crowd, which ran for four series from 2006 to 2010. He has starred in films including Gulliver's Travels (2010), Bridesmaids, Friends with Kids (2011), Cuban Fury (2014), Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016) and The Cloverfield Paradox (2018). He created and starred in the Sky 1 television series Moone Boy, which aired from 2012 to 2015 and brought him Irish Film and Television Award nominations for acting, writing and directing. Since 2017, he has appeared as Miles Daly in the Epix comedy series Get Shorty. He had a recurring role in the comedy-drama series Girls. His performance in the British comedy TV series State of the Union won him a Primetime Emmy Award. He made his Broadway debut in the play adaptation of Of Mice and Men in 2014, for which he was nominated for a Tony Award. In 2020, he was listed as #39 on The Irish Times list of Ireland's greatest film actors. Richard Ellef Ayoade was born in London in 1977. He is a a multi-award winning British comedian, actor, broadcaster, filmmaker, author, narrator & film buff. The success of Garth Marenghi’s Dark Place (which he co-wrote, directed and starred in) was followed by his BAFTA award winning role in The IT Crowd, and numerous other TV credits. In 2010, Ayoade made his debut directorial feature, Submarine, a BAFTA nominated, coming-of-age comedy-drama he adapted from Joe Dunthorne's 2008 novel of the same name. His second feature film in 2013, the black comedy thriller The Double, was based on Fyodor Dostoyevsky's 1846 novella The Double; it was written by Ayoade & Avi Korine. His first book, Ayoade on Ayoade: A Cinematic Odyssey, was published in October 2014. Richard is married to actress / producer Lydia Fox & they reside in England.

Katherine Parkinson is an English actress. She appeared in the Channel 4 comedy series The IT Crowd as Jen Barber, for which she received a British Comedy Best TV Actress Award in 2009 and 2014, and was nominated twice for the BAFTA Television Award for Best Female Comedy Performance, winning in 2014. Parkinson studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and has appeared on stage in the plays The Seagull (2007), Cock (2009), and Home, I'm Darling (2018), for which she was nominated for the Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Play. Parkinson was also a main cast member of the series Doc Martin for three series (2005–2009). She co-starred in all three series of Humans, a science-fiction drama on AMC/Channel 4, which aired from 2015 until 2018. She has also appeared in the films The Boat That Rocked (2009) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018).
