In 2016, he attended both the Melbourne Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival playing a supporting role in Rose Matafeo’s show, ‘Finally Dead’. He is a 2017 Billy T Award nominee.

Actor Madeleine Sami won international acclaim starring in two Toa Fraser plays: 1998's Bare and solo show No 2. Aged 18, she debuted on screen on Shortland Street and Pio. Following Insiders Guide to Happiness, she played Oscar Kightley's romantic interest in Sione's Wedding. Sami went on to win an NZ acting award for Super City, in which she created and played multiple characters. In 2018 comedy The Breaker Upperers hit cinemas; Sami co-wrote, co-directed and co-starred with Jackie van Beek.

After a couple of years in stand-up comedy, Guy Williams "hit the jackpot" when he won the Dai’s Protégé Project competition — through Jono’s New Show — which saw him opening for Dai Henwood during the NZ International Comedy Festival. The following year Williams found himself working with Jono Pryor on his TV show The Jono Project. He took home the Billy T James comedy award in 2012 before joining radio station The Edge in 2014. He has since worked on various shows including a regular slot on Jono and Ben, narrating Come Dine With Me New Zealand, and hosting 2019 comedy news show New Zealand Today.

Angella Dravid is a New Zealand stand-up comedian, writer and actress. She is of Samoan-Indian descent, and has lived in Oman, Australia, the UK, and New Zealand. She initially attended an open mic night to get over her anxiety at working customer service facing jobs and her fear of public speaking, and continued to pursue stand-up comedy after her sets were successful. In 2017, she decided on showbusiness, and perhaps writing a drama or serial based on her experiences; upon her choosing, she turned her thoughts of being in an abusive relationship into a show called Down the Rabbit Hole, which played the New Zealand International Comedy Festival (NZICF). For her performance Dravid won the 2017 Billy T Award, an accolade that recognises up and coming comedy performers.
