He has appeared in over 50 films, including Clifford (1994), Stargate (1994), For Your Consideration (2006), Hereafter (2010), and Beau Is Afraid (2023). In addition to his acting career, he is also a vocal advocate for social justice causes. He is a member of the board of directors of the Creative Coalition, an organization that advocates for the arts in public policy. He is also a supporter of the Human Rights Campaign and the Anti-Defamation League. He is also an alumnus of The Second City in Chicago.

​From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.   Alexander Chaplin (born March 20, 1971) is an American actor. Chaplin's most prominent role was that of speechwriter James Hobert on the sitcom Spin City. He was born as Alexander Gaberman in New York City. As with the rest of the Spin City main cast, Chaplin has featured in creator Bill Lawrence's subsequent sitcom, Scrubs, playing a drug addict who tries to trick Elliot into giving him prescription medication in "My Moment of Un-Truth" and later tricks Jordan into giving him money in "My Rite of Passage". His character later appeared in "My Scrubs" as a drugs counsellor for the hospital, claiming to be reformed. Chaplin also appeared in an episode of Law & Order (Season 14, episode 1, "Bodies") as pompous yet ethical legal-aid attorney Timothy Schwimmer who has to defend a serial killer (played by Ritchie Coster). Chaplin's character ends up on the stand for not disclosing information, protected by the attorney-client privilege, given to him by the serial killer. As a teen, Chaplin attended Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Center in upstate New York. Michael Andrew Fox OC (born June 9, 1961), known professionally as Michael J. Fox, is a retired Canadian-American actor. Beginning his career in the 1970s, he rose to prominence portraying Alex P. Keaton on the NBC sitcom Family Ties (1982–1989). Fox is famous for his role as protagonist Marty McFly in the Back to the Future film trilogy (1985–1990), a critical and commercial success. He went on to headline several films throughout the 1980s and 1990s, including Teen Wolf (1985), The Secret of My Success (1987), Casualties of War (1989), Doc Hollywood (1991), and The Frighteners (1996). Fox returned to television on the ABC sitcom Spin City in the lead role of Mike Flaherty from 1996 to 2000. In 1998, Fox disclosed his 1991 diagnosis of Parkinson's disease. He subsequently became an advocate for finding a cure and founded the Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2000 to help fund research. Worsening symptoms forced Fox to reduce his activities and led to his return to television in Spin City when he was still a major movie star. He continued to make guest appearances on television, including recurring roles on the FX comedy-drama Rescue Me (2009) and the CBS legal drama The Good Wife (2010–2016) that garnered him critical acclaim. He voiced the lead roles in the Stuart Little films (1999–2005) and the animated film Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001). His final major role was on the NBC sitcom The Michael J. Fox Show (2013–2014). Fox retired in 2020 due to his declining health. Fox won five Primetime Emmy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and a Grammy Award. He was also appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2010, along with being inducted to Canada's Walk of Fame in 2000 and the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2002. For his advocacy of a cure for Parkinson's disease, he received an honorary doctorate in 2010 from the Karolinska Institute and an honorary Oscar in 2022.

Jennifer Esposito (born April 11, 1973, height 5' 6" (1,68 m)) is an American actress, dancer and model. known for her appearances in films such as I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, Summer of Sam and Crash and in television series such as Spin City and Samantha Who?, and Blue Bloods. Esposito was born in Brooklyn, New York, the second of two daughters of Phyllis, an interior decorator, and Robert Esposito, a computer consultant and music producer. She is of Italian descent. Esposito made her first television appearance in Law & Order in 1996. She then joined the cast of Spin City, where she appeared for two seasons. She also appeared in I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. One of her more notable roles was as Ruby in Spike Lee's Summer of Sam in 1999, which was set against the late-1970s backdrop of the Son of Sam murders. She originally had the Mira Sorvino role in Summer of Sam, but had to take a different role due to scheduling conflicts. Esposito's next film was Wes Craven Presents: Dracula 2000. In 2000, Esposito appeared in the Law & Order: SVU episode Remorse as a rape victim. She played Don Cheadle's girlfriend, Ria, in the Academy Award-winning film Crash. Esposito was part of the cast of Related. She also played the part of Jennifer in The Master of Disguise in 2002 and played a Lieutenant in the NYPD in the 2004 film Taxi. She played a love interest to Denis Leary's character in the FX dramedy Rescue Me. Esposito appeared on television as Andrea Belladonna in the ABC comedy, Samantha Who?. She also appeared in the NBC medical drama Mercy. Esposito joined the cast of Blue Bloods in 2010, during its first season; she plays Detective Jackie Curatola, the partner of Detective Danny Reagan (played by Donnie Wahlberg). In the third season, Esposito entered a dispute with CBS regarding doctor's orders for her to cut back working hours due to her Celiac disease. Rather than work around her limited schedule, CBS chose to replace her character this season. As such, Esposito only appears in six episodes, receiving also starring billing in all of them. Esposito announced that she had been diagnosed with celiac disease on The Late Show with David Letterman in October 2011, reporting she had been diagnosed "a couple years ago" and had plans to open a gluten-free bakery. In 2012, Esposito opened the bakery in Manhattan's East Village under the name "Jennifer's Way Bakery." According to Esposito, she collapsed on set while shooting an episode of Blue Bloods, requiring her to miss a week of work, and during the show's th Esposito and CBS reportedly have been at odds over her medical condition and its effect on her availability for work. Esposito married Bradley Cooper on December 30, 2006. They were divorced in 2007. In 2009, Esposito became engaged to Australian tennis player Mark Philippoussis. The couple separated in August 2010.
