Jannik Schümann is a German actor, musical performer, and voice actor. He studied English Studies and Media Studies at Humboldt University of Berlin, where he wrote his bachelor thesis on queer-coding in Disney films. Schümann lives in Berlin with his partner Felix Kruck; they announced their engagement in March 2024. He began his TV career in 2003 with The Rescue Pilots. He had roles in A Life So Far Away (2007) and Tatort: Love Hunger (2007). In 2011, he gained wider recognition by playing Henry in the TV movie Homevideo and made his film debut in Barbara (2012) as Mario. That same year, he played the principal’s son in Middle Maturity. In 2015 he starred as Finn Wilke in My Son Helen (2015). He played the role of Nicholas in the film adaptation of Andreas Steinhöfel’s bestselling novel Center of My World (2016). And he's played Nikolaus Tanz in The Diplomat since 2016. Other appearances include Monster Hunter (2020), Tribes of Europa (2021), and Charité at War (2019).

Désirée Nosbusch (born January 14, 1965) is a television presenter and actress. She was born in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg, and has one Luxembourgish parent and one Italian parent. In the 1980s she lived in Manhattan in New York City, and from the 1990s to 2008 she lived in Los Angeles, California. Nosbusch speaks Luxembourgish, German, French, Italian and English. She has acted in both French-language and German-language films and television productions since her mid teens for example she was a member of the youth drama group of the Lycée Hubert Clément of Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg), and in at least one Italian language film. She presented the Eurovision Song Contest 1984 in Luxembourg & hosted a kid's version of Ruck Zuck called "Kinder Ruck Zuck". Nosbusch is also a singer. In 1984 she recorded a duet with Austrian singer Falco entitled "Kann es Liebe sein?".

The daughter of actors Renate Hundertmark and Klaus Schleiff, she trained in acting at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig. She began her career on stage, performing notably at the Residenztheater in Munich and the Schauspielhaus in Düsseldorf. Pauline Rénevier grew up in Hamburg. She got into acting through a theater course at her school. From 2018 to 2022 she studied acting at the University of Music and Theater in Hamburg. In 2017 and 2018 she took part in four days of acting seminars with the US drama teacher Ron Burrus at the "Actors Conservatory" and in 2018 she was also part of the youth performance group "Reset" at the Thalia Meeting Point. In 2009 she had her first film role in the short film The Little Match Seller. In 2011 she played her first leading role as "Åsa Berggren" in the German-Swedish TV two-part Nils Holgersson's wonderful journey. From 2015 to 2016 she starred in 14 episodes of the television series Sibel & Max. In 2017, Rénevier appeared in the film Der Zauberlehrling in the ZDF film series Fairytale Pearls. In 2018 she played one of the lead roles in the short-film production “Wind(s)stärke“. In 2019, she starred in Mark Forster's music video 747, directed by Kim Frank. Since 2021 she has been playing the role of Duchess Helene in Bavaria in the RTL television series Sisi. In 2021 she was seen in the ARD two-parter The White House on the Rhine. She has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg since the 2022/23 season.
