Neumann, he had no complaints about trampling and performing well as a soldier, but he felt boredom and a mysterious unease. However, he felt excitement during his battle with Hans U. Rudel of the Criminal Army, and through the dialogue between two immortal beings, Funasaka realized that what he desired was "a serious battle in which both sides would wear each other down," and he keenly felt the magnitude of what he had lost by gaining talent through the Branch of Reincarnation.
