Ariosto Vega, better known as Toto Vega (Vélez, September 23, 1970 - San Gil, September 26, 2022) was a Colombian film, theater and television actor. He also worked as a cultural manager. Vega's Colombian television career began in the early 1990s with a participation in the telenovela La mujer doble. During the decade he participated in other productions such as El oasis, De pies a cabeza, Fuego verde and El fiscal. His participation in the 2000s was very active, appearing in series such as Me llaman Lolita, Sofía dame tiempo, Todos quieren con Marilyn, Los Reyes and Las detectivas y el Víctor and in the film La pasión de Gabriel. He also participated in the film Armero and in the series Alias JJ, Amo de casa and La ley secreta. The actor suffered a fainting spell during the celebration of the Green Film Festival in Barichara, Santander, event of which he was founder and director. He was taken to a hospital in the municipality of San Gil, where he died in the early morning of September 26, 2022. The media reported that it was a heart attack.
