Sötét, gótikus mese három katolikus apácáról, akik egy távoli szigeten, a világtól elzártan élnek egy pusztuló kolostorban, ahol a növényzet kezdi benőni a kőangyalokat és a juhok szabadon járkálnak a kápolnában. A különböző korú nővérek a zárt Szent Ágnes rend utolsó képviselői. Alázatos életet élnek, imádkoznak, este pedig sötét tündérmeséket mesélnek egymásnak.
