Kenan İmirzalıoğlu (born 18 June 1974) is a Turkish actor and former model. İmirzalıoğlu appeared in the action films Son Osmanlı Yandım Ali (The Last Ottoman: Knockout Ali) and Kabadayı (For Love and Honor). He returned to television in 2009 with the series Ezel and also starred in the action film Ejder Kapanı (Dragon Trap) directed by Uğur Yücel. Kenan İmirzalioğlu's lineage came from Uzun Hasan's state who was a sultan of the Aq Qoyunlu dynasty, also known as the White Sheep Turkomans. He studied at Yıldız Technical University for the Math department. In 1997, he joined the Best Model of Turkey and came in first. In the same year, he joined the Best Model of the World and won. Then he drew attention of Osman Sınav who is producer and screenwriter and he took his first role for Osman Sınav's TV series called Deli Yürek as leading actor.

His family originates on paternal side from Turkish immigrants in Kavala, Greece, and on maternal side from Turkish immigrants in Skopje, Macedonia. Özşener graduated from Yıldız Technical University with a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering in 1996. Özşener, who had begun studying acting at the Şahika Tekand acting studio, began acting there in various plays, including Harold Pinter's The Dumb Waiter, which was directed by Şahika Tekand herself. He gained national attention for appearing as the "Özgür Çocuk" (Free Child) in a series of commercials for Turkcell. He appeared in the series Karanlıkta Koşanlar with Uğur Yücel. Then he acted in the series Üzgünüm Leyla. He had parts in films such as O Şimdi Asker, Gece 11:45 and Beş Vakit. Between 2007 and 2009, he played Cemil Paşazade in the series Dudaktan Kalbe adapted from Reşat Nuri Güntekin's novel. Since 2009, he plays Cengiz Atay in the series Ezel. In 2011, he appeared in the film Aşk Tesadüfleri Sever (Love Likes Coincidences) and starred as Mete Avunduk in the film Kaybedenler Kulübü (The Losers' Club) about the 1990s cult radio show of the same name.

Tuncel Tayanç Kurtiz (1 February 1936 – 27 September 2013) was a Turkish theatre, movie and TV series actor, playwright, and film director Since 1964, he acted in more than 70 movies, including many international productions. Since 1958, Kurtiz performed on many stages in Istanbul, in state and private theatres. He was also on the stage at Gothenburg City Theatre, Stockholm Royal Theatre and Swedish Theatre in Sweden, Schaubühne Berlin, Frankfurt City Theatre and Hamburg City Theatre in Germany and at Peter Brook Shakespeare Royal Theatre in England. Kurtiz directed plays for the German-Turkish theatre project "Türkisches Ensemble" in the late 1970s. During his university years and later the military service period, he became friends with the renowned film director Yılmaz Güney. They made a number of films together. Their 1970 film Umut was prohibited to leave Turkey, but was shown in Cannes Film Festival by a smuggled copy. His first film role was in Şeytanın Uşakları, shot in 1964. Since then, Tuncel Kurtiz played also in many international productions like Swedish, German, Dutch, Italian, French, British, Israel and Indian films and TV series, mostly in the original language.
