Massaro Ncuti Gatwa (born October 15, 1992) is a Rwandan-Scottish actor. He rose to prominence as Eric Effiong on the Netflix comedy-drama series Sex Education, which earned him a BAFTA Scotland Award for Best Actor in Television and three BAFTA Television Award nominations for Best Male Comedy Performance. In 2022, Gatwa was announced as the fifteenth incarnation of the Doctor on the BBC series Doctor Who, making him the first black actor to headline the series.

Amelia Eve Gibson is an English actress. She is known for portraying the roles of Indira in the CBBC television series Jamie Johnson and Kelly Neelan in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street. On 18 November 2022, Gibson was announced to be joining the cast of Doctor Who as new companion Ruby Sunday. Gibson left the show as the main companion in June of 2024.
