She won several awards for her work on the show, including a Canadian Screen Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series. In 2015, Palmer was cast as the Android in Dark Matter. The series ran for three seasons and was cancelled in 2017. Palmer's performance as the Android was also praised by critics and fans alike.
