In 2014, she play Odile Verneuil in the hit comedy Serial (Bad) Weddings. She reprise her role in the two sequels, Serial (Bad) Weddings 2 released in 2019 and Serial (Bad) Weddings 3 released in 2022. In 2017, she have the lead role in the TV mini-series The Frozen Dead. In 2021, she received a nomination for the César Award for Most Promising Actress for her role in Love Affair(s) directed by Emmanuel Mouret. Julia Piaton is one of the daughters of french actress Charlotte de Turckheim and Jean-Marc Piaton. She has two sisters named Clara and Johanna. She is the mother of a boy, born in August 2017. Reuten was born in Bussum, Netherlands, the daughter of an Italian mother and a Dutch father. Reuten portrayed Duncan MacLeod's love interest Anna in Highlander: The Source, released in September 2007. She also played Lotte in the Oscar-nominated film Twin Sisters, and Debbie in the Oscar-nominated film Everybody's Famous!. In 2005, she was cast as the bride in Garcia Lorca's play Blood Wedding at the Almeida Theatre in London. In October 2006, she traveled to Los Angeles to play Mina, a Muslim fundamentalist posing as a nanny while secretly preparing an assault on the United States, in the television series Sleeper Cell, In February 2008, she played Elsa in the Lost episode "The Economist."
