Elena Saurel (born 1987/1988) is an actress and writer based in London. She is known for her roles in the ITV2 sitcom Buffering (2021–2023), and the BBC Two series Industry (2022–) and We Might Regret This (2024). Saurel grew up in Geneva, Switzerland and moved to England at the age of 14, where she attended Bedales School. She is of Salvadoran-American heritage, and holds Spanish and American citizenship. Her parents enrolled her in afternoon acting classes to help with her anxiety and dyslexia. She took a one-year course at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York before going on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Archaeology from SOAS, University of London. During her time at university, she signed up for a number of short films and fringe plays

A comedic play based on her life and relationships, Sunrise, was first performed in 2019. Cave's first novel, Sunset, was published in 2021.

Janine Harouni is a UK-based American stand-up comedian and actress. Harouni was raised in Staten Island, New York City by a Lebanese-American father and a mother of Irish and Italian ancestry. In 2009, Harouni was grievously injured when a car crashed into a parked vehicle she was in, breaking her pelvis, femur, legs, and wrists. She moved to London in 2012. In 2018, Harouni won the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year. She won the BBC New Comedy Award in 2019 In 2019, Harouni performed a well received debut show, Stand Up with Janine Harouni (Please Remain Seated) at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. She was nominated for the Best Newcomer Award at that year's Edinburgh Comedy Awards. She returned to the Fringe in 2023, performing Man'oushe while heavily pregnant, and was nominated for the main Edinburgh Comedy Award. Harouni played Thalia in the ITV show Buffering from 2021–2023, and appeared as Carla Diaz in The Batman (2022).

Rosa Grace Robson (born 29 February 1992) is an English actress and comedian. On television, she is known for her role in the ITV2 sitcom Buffering (2021–23). Her films include She Is Love (2022). Robson is from Frome, Somerset. She completed her A Levels at Frome Community College in 2010. She went on to graduate from Homerton College, Cambridge. During her time at university, she was a member of Footlights, Pembroke Players, and the Marlowe Society. In 2012, while still at university, Robson formed a comedy duo called Beard with fellow Footlights member Matilda Wnek; the duo made their debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival that year. They returned to Edinburgh Fringe in 2014, 2015, and 2018. Robson and Wnek featured in a 2015 Vice article about female comedy duos. Also in 2015, Robson made both her feature film debut and her television debut as Louise Cabaye in Jamie Adams' Black Mountain Poets and in an episode Nick Helm's Heavy Entertainment respectively. In 2016, she worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon on the productions Doctor Faustus, Don Quixote, and The Alchemist. Robson would return to Don Quixote in 2018 at the Garrick Theatre, marking her West End debut. In 2021, Robson began starring as Ashley in the ITV2 sitcom Buffering. She also had a recurring role as Lara in the BBC One crime comedy The Outlaws and made a guest appearance in an installment of the BBC Two anthology series Inside No. 9. Robson reunited with director Jamie Adams for his 2022 film She Is Love. She has a role in the second season of the Disney+ Star superhero comedy series Extraordinary. In 2024, Rosa Robson played Sarah in Sami Ibrahim's Multiple Casualty Incident at The Yard Theatre, London.
