With a natural ability to find and follow gold, Shawn’s responsible for thousands of ounces being recovered from the floor of the Bering Sea and has become a leader and innovator in the industry. Now Shawn is leaving The Bluff behind to change up the mining game in Nome once again with his next big (and extremely expensive) innovation: the mega-dredge. Once completed, the mega-dredge will provide a future for his family, a means of expanding the reach of the Pomrenke empire, and be a monument cementing Shawn as the one and only Mr. Gold.
