A Course Called Ireland
This isn't just a show about golf — it's a celebration of life going gloriously off course. In this series, Bill Murray and good friend and author, Tom Coyne play their way across some of the island's most legendary golf courses. But somewhere between the first tee and the final pint, the journey veers off course to meet the people who give it its soul, and why Bill loves his Irish heritage so much.
Each episode follows Murray and friends across some of the island's most breathtaking fairways, with every episode featuring a different golf course and guest.
The series offers an intimate portrait of an island whose stories, people and craic prove just as unforgettable as Bill Murray himself.
Golf is just the excuse.

Hollywood legend Bill Murray begins a journey around Ireland, combining golf with a search for his Irish roots. But travelling with Bill rarely goes to plan. In Kinsale, chance encounters turn a simple walk into an adventure, while friend and golf writer Tom Coyne tries to keep things on track. Golf brought Bill to Ireland, but the best moments often happen far from the course.

Irish film star Chris O'Dowd joins Bill Murray and his friend Tom Coyne for a lively round of golf, with enthusiasm occasionally outstripping ability. Away from the fairways, a traditional rambling house takes Bill outside his comfort zone as he explores Ireland's rich storytelling traditions. Later, in a packed Irish pub, the music starts – and staying on the sidelines proves impossible.

As their adventure nears its end, Bill still finds time to terrify Tom with his driving. A stormy round with NFL star Jason Kelce brings refuge in a stone shelter on the 7th, complete with pints and sausage rolls. In Dublin, Bill puts Tom in the spotlight for a change, before the pair reach the Giant's Causeway and reflect on a journey that became about far more than golf.
